Open Every Wednesday 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Open the 3rd Saturday of each month
8 to 11 a.m.
Directions: I-190, Exit 5, north one block on
Route 140 to light, left on Legg Road and travel
0.8 mile to the entrance on the right. Or Laurel
Street, West Boylston or Manning Street, Holden
to Raymond Huntington Highway (parallel with
I-190 at Holden/West Boylston town line), and
travel 0.9 mile to the entrance on the left.
Items collected for a fee:
$3 monitor for computer
$12 TV 32" or less, $16 over 32", $20 wood console, $25 projection
$10 refrigerator, air conditioner, dehumidifier
$5 large appliance, snowblower, riding
mower, hot water tank, toilet, tub, sink,
swing set, exercise equipment
$2 small appliance, mower, microwave
$5 furniture, couch, chair, bureau, mattress,
box spring
$2 small furniture, plastic chair, large plastic
$10 sleeper couch, recliner
$30 per cubic yard home project debris, concrete,
bricks, wood, roofing shingles, wall board,
doors, windows (no creosoted wood)
$3 propane tank 20 lb., $1 small tank,
$20 larger than standard 20 lb tank.
$2 tire with or without rim, $8 truck tire 19+”,
$20-$80 large equipment tires
$6 fire extinguisher
Items for Reuse
If the household item is in good condition for
reuse, please place it the "Use it Again" area.
For large items and electronics the regular fee
will be charged to cover potential disposal.
Items collected with no fee
for recycling or reuse:
• plastics #1 – #7
• #6 styrofoam, cleaned and bagged
• packing peanuts in bags
• glass containers – please rinse
• metal containers – please rinse
• paper & cardboard
• gas grilles
• bicycles
• sporting goods
• computer parts
• cell phones and other electronics
• eye glasses
• all batteries including lead-acid, rechargeable,
ni-cad, alkaline, button, lithium
• scrap aluminum, brass, copper, lead
• mercury switches and thermometers
• fluorescent tubes, CFL bulbs
• clothing
• books
• deposit/returnable bottles & cans – for scouts
• small usable household items including linens,
dishes and small working appliances
