COA Programs

COA is now collecting button cell batteries for recycling. Bring used batteries to deposit boxes at the Community Center, Town Hall or various locations around town

COA is looking for people interested in playing Mahjong or Cribbage for no money. We can teach beginners! Contact the COA office for more information

COA Upcoming Events:
Manicures/pedicures with Robbin by appointment. Call her at 508-826-3738 for appointment/information.

Aug 8: No Cooking Group meets at Kimball Farm in Lancaster at 4:30, after dinner you can choose to visit the Crusin' Night Antique Car Show. Call the COA office to sign up
Aug 11: Cozy Book Nook meets at 10am to discuss "The Borrowers" by Mary Norton
Aug 13: Fallon Senior Plan representative 10am
Aug 14: Bus trip to York, ME
Aug 16: Wachusett Area Senior Social 1-3pm barbeque at The Hills at Paxton Village. Cost is $5, rsvp to Cindy at 508-397-5471
Aug 21: Summer Youth Band Concert 10:30am
Aug 28: MCPHS Healthy Living program 10am. This is the first of 4 free workshops and deals with medication used to treat chronic diseases. Call to register

Mondays:    Cribbage at 12:45pm

Tuesdays:   Blood Pressure noon (2nd Tues of month), Wii Bowling 12:45pm
Wednesdays: Mexican Train Dominoes at 10am, Pitch at 12:45pm

Thursdays: Yoga with Marty at 11:30am at Holden studio $5 per class, No Bingo in July & August

Fridays: Senior Fitness at 10:am (courtesy of Oriol Healthcare), Knitting 12:45pm, Wii Bowling 12:45pm

Wii is available for bowling, golf, pool, ping pong and more
Indoor walking any morning after 9am
Satellite library with great selection including Large Print
Medical equipment available for loan
